Welcome to my site!

A fresh new adventure for me, as I begin to get this page off the ground; for the next few weeks this will be my creative outlet. I am packing up my belongings and heading for the beach life on the Atlantic Coast. I have always heard that life is better in two place, the beach and Paris, well a trip across the ocean was not in the cards…besides my French is very weak.

I have toyed with the idea of starting a blog for about a year, to chronicle my love of needlepoint and being creative.  My vision for this blog, is to share, not just my personal stuff but to spotlight others as well. Over the past 20 months, I have met many people in the world of needlepoint. Some who have been name stays for a long time, some who are just breaking in (or trying) and many who simply love being creative. Here on this blog, I hope to bring them all together!

Here on this blog, I also want to lead discussions about how we keep the craft of needlepoint alive. Lets face it we live in a world of instant gratification, where buying is with a click of a mouse, and entertainment is digital. Like many shop owners this is a question that, they ask of themselves everyday, how to attract the next generation of crafters? So as the dust settles for me, and I begin the labored task of unpacking my life in my new home, I ask that you come along for the adventure. Let’s see what new things we can come up with in the world of Needlepoint.
